Our believing community consists of families in Christ, extending their family to actively cultivate relationships with “persons of peace” (Luke 10) among the needy. Within our circles of acquaintances, we then model and practice open extended family, inviting them to share common life through meals, meetings, family activities, and fellowship together. Most people are met in everyday trafficking, which naturally reveals the “persons of peace” and are discovered in the workplaces, schools, local events and other places in the community.
What do families do? They eat together, share their life experience, become vulnerable, talk about struggles, and support one another. We adapt the “one anothering” pattern of living, modeled in Scripture, and the end result are widows, orphans, aliens, the disenfranchised, and the poor are being empowered by Jesus Christ, through real family making His disciples.
Our hope and prayer is that this website will be a helpful tool for the Church in Jesus Christ to live unto Him, exhibiting His Life to be poured out to their own communities. We are dedicated to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the poor and needy in the Middle Tennessee, Cumberland region in simple and organic ways. Come and stay with us for a while, and see Jesus Christ's extraordinary power at work in a community in pursuit of following Him.
